Roni Burgener has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from CU Boulder. Immediately after school, Roni began working at a start-up as a tutor and mentor for students with a variety of learning disabilities. She then worked as a Financial Analyst at a telecommunications company. Now she is working as a Technical Systems Engineer with a focus in capacity engineering and management. After experiencing discrimination and bias in her tech career Roni was inspired to start a podcast with the woman who had her back through it all – Wendy Bohling. For fun Roni loves to coach soccer, tutor math, host Bachelor and Bachelorette viewing parties, and spend time with her friends and family.
Wendy Bohling is a thought-leader, corporate consultant on gender intelligence and inclusive leadership, CEO of Corporate Cowgirl Up and author of “Cowgirl Up: A Woman’s Guide to Navigating the Corporate Frontier”. She has more than 30 years as an executive in the corporate trenches at some of the top telecom Fortune 500 companies and healthcare IT startups. The vast diversity in her professional life has set her up to move to this even bigger work in the world of creating gender equality through an understanding of unconscious bias.
